The goal of this work is to explore and analyze possibilities of portal applications, theirs advantages and disadvantages associated with risks of deployment for a small company. This work deals with various aspects that accompany decisions about the use of portal application and evaluate them with the classical approach to creating internet applications. Focus is on the portal application LifeRay Portal.

Common Rail System in Passenger Cars

Bachelor thesis is focused on the Common Rail system. On the whole this work shows that the Common Rail system is one of the top system in the automobile industry. It is thus clear that the system conforms to all current requirements, which must be taken into account when designing the car.Therefore, this bachelor thesis focuses mainly on the description of this system.When closer examination of this issue, I also concluded that the combined injection units as such are able to cope with the Common Rail system.

This work deals with USB bus specification, its advantages, disadvantages, and different possibilities of use. Readers offers a closer look at the processes invisible to user during startup, operation and management of the device, their meaning, structure and timing. The work also discusses the possibility of connecting more computers to a USB device through switch and is dedicated to design of such a switch.

The theoretical part contains a description of employee benefits and their tax effect of the provision of employer to the employee. Analytical part contains an assessment of the current system of benefits in SG Equipment Finance Czech Republic s.r.o. The last part of the bachelor thesis includes suggestions for improving the system of benefits in society.

This bachelor thesis has been written as part of the studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering (2301R016) under the aegis of the Institute of Manufacturing Technology of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Brno University of Technology. This work deals with the study on the subject of upsetting tests and their importance in the engineering practice. The aim of this literary study is to evaluate upsetting – compression tests, especially in steel materials that are most widely used in the field of engineering. Then the work focuses on the comparison of the various types of upsetting tests, workpieces and machines, and their advantages and disadvantages for the practical use are compared.

Although it\nhas been substantially developed and expanded during its existence of more than a quarter of a\ncentury and has found many areas of application, like any other mathematical and experimental\nmethod, it exhibits several advantages and disadvantages.
